Letter from our firm

Dear Clients,

We understand that everyone is concerned about the Coronavirus outbreak. And we are as well, which is why we are taking extra precautions to keep our clients and staff safe.

While the threat of Coronavirus exists, our firm is implementing the following safety guidelines:

Documents: Please refrain from dropping off your tax documents. Instead, please upload them to your secure web portal. Please refer to the below portal instructions. If you have any questions, please call Diane at (614) 854-9000 extension 207.

Alternatively, you can mail them to our office. Please note: If you choose to mail or drop off your tax documents, they will be quarantined for one week upon receipt.

Completed returns: When your return is complete, we will send you an email. If we do not have your email address, we will contact you by phone.

Return delivery: Returns will not be available for pick-up. Instead, your return will be available in your client portal. If you need help accessing your return, please let us know. Any mandatory city paper filings will be mailed to you via first-class postal service. In addition, any original tax documents we have will be mailed back to you in the same envelope. Please note: If you need us to assemble and mail your return to you, please send an email to info@mattisonyoder.com

Extensions: If an extension is necessary, you will be notified.

PORTAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Please go to our firm website at www.mattisonyoder.com

Select Client Center at the top RIGHT side of screen > choose Client Login 

Username: You will be provided this when we complete your return

Password: _Ss followed by your SSN @ [Example: Ss555667890@] Please note: letters are case sensitive.

If you do not remember your Password: 

  1. Type in Username. 

  2. Click “Forget Password”

  3. Enter Login (which is your username). 

  4. Enter email address. 

  5. Select reset via email. A new password will be emailed to you.

Left-hand side of screen:  

  • Select Your Name > Tax Returns > 12/31/XX 

  • OR Select Your Business Name  > Tax Returns > 12/31/XX

  • The 20XX Action Required Items are the items you need to take immediate action on. Please print these items out and follow the instructions. 

You can view the returns, print the returns or save a .pdf file to your computer or storage device. 

You can use File Exchange to upload the signed Form 8879. 

Changing your Password: 

  • Choose Your Name located in the top right-hand corner of screen. 

  • Select Update Password. 

  • Confirm New Password. 

  • Choose “Set” Security Questions for ease in remembering your password if needed.
